Eggs and Spheres

Polished gemstone Eggs are half-way between points (wands) and spheres, and as such take on characteristics of both, albeit with a more diluted energy. Eggs represent fertility and creation. They symbolise the first stage for the realisation of our goals and dreams, for example, changing a feeling of vulnerability and low self-esteem into that of confidence and assertiveness. They are beneficial for the start of projects and at times of change.
Gemstone Spheres represent completeness; the realisation of all things possible, and as such there can be no beginning or end. Due to this characteristic, spheres are very much in the NOW and make ideal meditation tools. During the cutting process of the sphere, as much as ten times the amount of the finished piece is chiselled away. This symbolises how much needs to be released in order to manifest the Self's innate perfection.
In Feng Shui, the ancient art of creating optimal energy flow in an environment, disharmony is created by sharp angles and edges. In that context, a sphere is the most harmonious form possible, and as such is ideally placed in the centre of a room because of its balancing energy.
