Natrolite has the chemistry Na2Al2Si3O10-2H2O, Hydrated Sodium Aluminum Silicate and belongs to the mineral class Silicates, subclass Tektosilicates, Zeolite group.
Although Natrolite may form as nodules, fibrous and massive crusts, it is noted for radiating sprays of thin acicular crystals with pyramidal terminations. Natrolite is a sodium Zeolite and is closely related to Scolecite, a calcium Zeolite, and Mesolite, a calcium and sodium Zeolite. All three minerals are referred to as chain or needle Zeolites, because their structure of chains of silicate tetrahedrons are aligned in one direction to form long, thin, needle-like crystals. Natrolite crystals are transparent to translucent, lustre is vitreous to dull and the colour is clear, white or pale yellow and brown. The crystal system is orthorhombic.

Nephrite Healing Energies and Mineralogy

Nephrite gives a high level of protection on all levels and is particularly suitable for children. It balances yin and yang energies. It balances the emotions, reduces tension and facilitates inner peace. Nephrite enhances relationships, including those with the Self, bringing acceptance of the whole Self. It is beneficial for kidney and liver function and expedites the removal of toxins from the body. It helps during childbirth.

Nephrite has the chemistry of Calcium Magnesium Iron Silicate Hydroxide. Nephrite is a variety of the mineral, Actinolite and one of two minerals called Jade, the other being Jadeite. The Nephrite variety is composed of fibrous crystals inter-twinned in a tough compact mass and is different from other Actinolite varieties. In fact, the compact Nephrite variety of Jade is extremely tough and is actually stronger than steel! It was used by early civilisations for their weapons and cutting tools. Later Jade became highly valued and was made into religious ornaments. Nephrite is more abundant than Jadeite and has fewer colour varieties, ranging from creamy white to green only, while Jadeite can have the full range of Jade's colours.

Neptunite Healing Energies and Mineralogy

Neptunite promotes insight and knowledge of life's purpose. It facilitates a connection with All That Is. It aids decision-making and problem solving, particularly in stressful situations. Neptunite brings a sense of harmony and balance to the environment. It is beneficial for teeth and gums, muscles and bones.

Neptunite has the chemistry KNa2Li(Fe, Mn)2Ti2Si8O24, Potassium Sodium Lithium Iron Manganese Titanium Silicate and belongs to the mineral class Silicates, subclass Inosilicates. Neptunite is a rare mineral and has only been discovered in recent times. Neptunite is named after the Roman god of the sea, Neptune. Neptunite crystal habits include prismatic, elongated crystals with nearly square cross-sections and slanted terminations, as well as massive. Crystals are translucent to opaque, the colour is black to red-black, lustre is vitreous and the crystal system is monoclinic. Cleavage is perfect in two directions, fracture is splintery and hardness is 5.5.
Minerals associated with Neptunite include Benitoite, Natrolite, Serpentine, Aegirine and Joaquinite. Notable locations include San Benito Co., California, USA, Narsarssuk in Greenland and the Kola Peninsula in Russia.

Nuumite Healing Energies

Nuumite is a powerful stone that facilitates communication with ancient wisdom and Akashic records. It shows all sides of the character and experiences some of which are 'forgotten' and may be painful to re-visit initially. However, Nuumite allows experiences to be put in perspective, bringing a profound and intense sense of the individual's place in the Universe.
